Sector Responsibilities

South (STH)

South is responsible for initial climb.

Auckland Radio (ARO)

ARO is responsible for ensuring the separation of aircraft in the enroute phase of flight.

For this event ARO is operating as a surveillance sector with radar minimums (5 nm laterally) and VHF comms.

McMurdo Centre "Mac" (MAC)

MAC is responsible for ensuring the separation of aircraft in the enroute phase of flight.

For this event MAC is operating as a surveillance sector with radar minimums (5 nm laterally) and VHF comms.

Coordination

CTMA to STH

Voiceless for all aircraft:

  • Assigned FL250; and
  • Tracking via PEHRR

STH to ARO

Voiceless for all aircraft:

  • Assigned RFL; and
  • Tracking via HELGE

MAC to WDTMA

Voiceless for all aircraft:

  • Assigned A160; and
  • Tracking via JEHOO
