Clearance Delivery
Flight Plan Compliance
Ensure all flight plans are checked for compliance with the approved WF Route:

If an aircraft has filed an incorrect route and you need to give an amended clearance.
World Flight Teams
WorldFlight Teams shall have STS/STATE added to their remarks, and WF TEAM added to their Global Ops Field, to ensure they receive priority.
Runway Selection
Runway 33 True is in use for all arrivals and departures.
DCL
DCL is not available at NZFX, all clearances shall be by voice.
Surface Movement Control (Ground)
Arrivals
Arrivals are to vacate left at the end of the runway and taxi to parking.
Departures
All departures shall hold at the end of the runway. Aircraft shall be told to monitor tower prior to reaching the holding point.
Startup shall be metered such that there are no more than five aircraft at the holding point.
Aerodrome Control (Tower)
Departure Spacing
Ensure that a minimum of 90 second spacing is applied between subsequent departures from the same runway.
ATIS
There is a remote ATIS operating out of NZCM (McMurdo Station) as the NZFX METARs are not consistently issued.
Coordination
Departures are to be handed over to A-NZWD (Williams Tower).
