Surface Movement Control (Ground)

Flight Plan Compliance

Ensure all flight plans are checked for compliance with the approved WF Route the OHCH2:

ABTOL Y266 GURBO Y804 ATBUB H159 MESIX

If an aircraft has filed an incorrect route and you need to give an amended clearance.

World Flight Teams

WorldFlight Teams shall have STS/STATE added to their remarks, and WF TEAM added to their Global Ops Field, to ensure they receive priority.

Runway Selection

Runway 23L operations are preferred as it provides improved airspace utilization for ATMA. These operations can occur with up to a 10 kt tailwind.

DCL

DCL is not available at NZOH, all clearances shall be by voice.

Arrivals

All medium jets can expect to park at the 3 Squadron Apron or 5 Squadron Apron.

All heavy jets can expect to park at the Northern Apron.

Departures

All departures shall use holding point C or A1. Aircraft shall be told to monitor tower prior to reaching the holding point.

Pushback/Startup shall be metered such that there are no more than five aircraft at the holding point.

Aerodrome Control (Tower)

Runway Vacating Instructions

Aircraft must vacate the runway to the north. A2 is not available due size restrictions.

All medium jets can expect to park at the 3 Squadron Apron or 5 Squadron Apron. All heavy jets can expect to park at the Northern Apron.

Departure Spacing

Ensure that a minimum of 90 seconds spacing is applied between subsequent departures from the same runway.
